Bold book that shatters old beliefs

This book challenges our daily eating habits of mixing different type of food in one meal. New research has shown that mixing different kinds of food in one go can rob you of energy instead of giving you energy! Do you feel fatigue and sleepy after that big meal of rice with meat with eggs and fish during lunch? You bet! Then after that you constipate! I've made a guinea pig of myself and found it to be true! If I combine my food properly, I don't feel sleepy after lunch, even if it was a big meal!Today, more and more people are discovering the importance of food combining, and many authors are recommending it. See books like "The Tao Of Health, Sex and Longevity" by Daniel Reid. Food combining is one of the most important thing Tony Robbins did to make his vitality explode!Here's a way to see for yourself that it works. Try the strategies of this book a few days, note your energy level and how you feel. Then go back to eating egg with meat and rice or steak with potato, and you'll see the huge difference. The missing cornerstone to healthy eating.

This is a must have simple book for anyone wanting to change there health, weight or attitude with diet. His clinical work shows that what foods you eat together make a huge difference between a meal's constructive or a destructive effects on your body. When I started following his guidelines I got clearer, more energy and alertness in days. When I stray (holidays etc.) the body feels heavy, slugish in and hour. A wonderful simple essential book.

A Guidebook to Better Digestion and Health

I've been interested in nutrition for more than 50 years, and one of the most helpful books I've read in that half century is Herbert Shelton's "Food Combing Easy Made Easy." It is a small book, really not much more than a pamphlet, but the information it contains can dramatically improve your health, energy, and digestion. I know that when I eat proper food combinations, I feel better and have more energy. Some bad food combinations are more pernicious than others. For example, dried fruit, such as raisins with protein (such as nuts) or starch (such wheat) causes fermentation because the nuts and/or wheat retard the speed of the digestion of the raisins, resulting in fermentation and nasty farts.
In yoga philosophy, it is said that the "mind feeds on food." In other words, bad eating habits produce negative, disturbing thoughts. If you're a meditator, you'll find that eating proper food combinations will help you to quiet your mind.
Of the uncountable number of books on nutrition I've read, I'd rate "Food Combining Made Easy" in my top five, along with "The Paleo Diet"; "Ayurveda: The Science of Self-healing"; "Food is Your Best Medicine"; and "Fit for Life," which elaborates and expands upon the principles in Shelton's book.
